Venture Variable Annuity Special Features
Dollar Cost Averaging*
Use this popular strategy to help manage risk by "easing" into equity portfolios over time instead of all at once.

Rates are annualized. Interest earned will be credited on a declining balance.

Systematic investing involves continuous allocation in securities, regardless of price level fluctuation. Clients should weigh their ability to sustain payments during periods of market downturns.

*Dollar cost averaging does not assure a profit or protect against loss. Systematic investing involves continuous investment in securities regardless of price level fluctuation. Individuals should weigh their ability to sustain investments during periods of market downturns. Any fixed rates credited will be paid on a declining balance.

Income Made Easy*
A systematic withdrawal program that was specially designed to work with our Guaranteed Minimum Withdrawal Benefits. See prospectus for details.

*It is important to understand that GMWBs are optional benefits available with Venture Variable Annuity contracts and cannot be elected without purchasing the annuity contract. These benefits may not be appropriate for those individuals who do not foresee a need for liquidity and whose primary focus is tax deferral. Before considering either benefit, please make sure the annuity is suitable for your investment goals and personal circumstances.

Asset Rebalancing Program
Automatically redistributes assets among portfolio options quarterly, semiannually or annually to maintain your original asset allocation. Diversification, asset allocation or rebalancing does not guarantee a profit or protect against a loss. Please note that asset allocation may not be appropriate for everyone, particularly those interested in directing the underlying portfolio options of their annuity contract on their own. Restrictions apply. See prospectus for details.
Check Plus (Automatic Purchase)
Establish your contract with a single payment or a series of payments over time.
Transfers
You can move your assets among the numerous Venture Annuities portfolios without current income taxation. Transfer restrictions apply. See prospectus for details.
Footnotes:
1

Reduces to 1.00% after the seventh contract year.

2

3

4

There is never a withdrawal charge on payments in the contract for more than seven years.

5

Qualified retirement plans (such as 401(k)and IRA) also provide tax-deferred growth. There is no additional tax advantage if the annuity is held inside a qualified plan.
