Key Features
Decreasing Fees
The annual management fee is 1.15% and decreases to 1.00% in years 8+.
Diverse Portfolio Options
Select from a number of professionally managed portfolio options covering all asset classes.
Guaranteed Payments for Life
Several options help you take the guesswork out of retirement planning and enable you to receive payments for the rest of your life. The guarantees are backed by the claims paying ability of the issuer.
Family Protection
Your beneficaries have an additional measure of protection with your variable annuity through a standard death benefit available prior to annuitization of the contract.
Tax Deferral
Your assets grow on a tax deferred basis. Pay no taxes on your earnings until they are withdrawn. Charges may apply to amounts taken in excess of the withdrawal amount available without a withdrawal charge during the surrender charge period. All withdrawals reduce the death benefit and optional benefits. In addition, withdrawals of taxable amounts will be subject to ordinary income tax and, if made prior to age 59½, a 10% IRS penalty tax may apply.

Venture Variable Annuity Special Features
Dollar Cost Averaging -
Use this popular strategy to help manage risk by "easing" into equity portfolios over time instead of all at once.
Rate Availability Rates are annualized. Interest earned will be credited on a declining balance.
Dollar cost averaging does not assure a profit or protect against loss. Systematic investing involves continuous allocation in securities, regardless of price level fluctuation. Clients should weigh their ability to sustain payments during periods of market downturns. Potential purchasers should not assume that the special rate will be available for either subsequent payments or at renewal, as the then current fixed rate will be offered.
Income Plan - Systematic withdrawals of a level dollar amount on a periodic basis (up to 10% of cumulative purchase payments each year). See prospectus for details.
Asset Rebalancing Program - Automatically redistributes assets among portfolio options quarterly, semiannually or annually to maintain your original asset allocation. Diversification, asset allocation or rebalancing does not guarantee a profit or protect against a loss. Please note that asset allocation may not be appropriate for everyone, particularly those interested in directing the underlying portfolio options of their annuity contract on their own. Restrictions apply. See prospectus for details.
Check Plus (Automatic Purchase) - Establish your contract with a single payment or a series of payments over time.
Transfers - You can move your assets among the numerous Venture Annuities portfolios without current income taxation. Transfer restrictions apply. See prospectus for details.
